There is a long artistic tradition in Gardena Valley, dating back from the 17th century, mainly in woodcarving.
My grandfather Vigil Pescosta was an arts-professor at the Royal Arts School in Monza and worked with the renowned Italian artist Arturo Martini.
In my youth I had the opportunity to learn something about art at my father's Carlo atelier of carving and painting.
These are some of my newer rather abstract watercolour-paintings, they try to transform natural elements or landscapes according to my inner feelings and sensations.
